So today I registered for USASA! I changed my region from NH to MA for a few reasons. First I am living in MA this year and not in NH. While I will still be skiing mostly in NH that really doesn’t make that much of a difference. The two main reasons I switched are because all of the slopstyles this year in NH are at Waterville Valley and I HATE their jumps. I did a comp there last year and it was horrible. The second main reason is because of money. It costs $50 to register for one event in NH and $20-$25 to register for one event in MA. And while I do not have a pass for Wawa which is where most of the comps take place in MA, it is only $20-$25 for a lift ticket if you are doing an event. And I do not have a pass to Waterville this year so I would have to buy a ticket for there too. And I might be able to finagle a few tickets to Wawa easier then WV. So yea should be a good year! I cannot wait! Nationals here I come!!!

So today marks the first day of classes! Oh yay! I am looking forward to it! I am taking two classes and one starts today online and the other one starts on Thursday! The one that starts today is a Marketing class and the one that starts on Thursday is an Infant Toddler class. Once I am done with this class I will be able to receive my Lead Teacher certification!
Now about skiing! I think I have finally picked out what jacket I want! There is only one place in New England that has it in the color that I want!!!! Here is a picture of it!!!

I am so stoked to be one of the newest riders for FRINGE clothing and Freestyle watches! They are both companies who are wicked chill. Here is a little bit about each of them!
FRINGE Clothing

Fringe is dedicated to the people who are dedicated to their sports! And that rocks!! I cannot wait until I get my stuff so I can start wearing it everywhere! That way I can support athletes that are dedicated to their sports also!!
Freestyle Watches
What began in the early 80’s, has stood the test of time, proving the world demands and respects a high-quality, water resistant, and durable watch at a fair price. The time has taught us not to fret over the little things; rather just worry about the things that really matter. How durable and dependable can we make your watch? Will it hold up when you huck and bail? If your watch fails, what can we do to fix it and make it better? Bottom line, we worry about the stuff you worry about and just like you, we are in it for life -surf, skate, snow, wake, bmx, mtb, moto, extreme sports, actions sports schmaction sports, call it what you will, we call it life…Freestyle4life!
I am wicked excited to be a Shark (level 2) rider for Freestyle Watches! I cannot wait to get my watch and t-shirts! I cannot wait to start repping these watches everyday on and off the hill!!!
ROCK OUT WITH YOUR CLOCK OUT!!!!
Thank you again to both FRINGE and FREESTYLE!!!

Camp is going great!!! I am having so much fun! best year by far! It started off a little rough...
First we almost missed our connecting flight because our first flight taxied for so long, so we had to run through the airport. It was like a scene from a movie! Then they ran out of food on the plane, so it was a long flight. Then we get to the airport and they had left our skis in Toronto! I was not a happy camper. They promised me they would be there by 4am in time to hit up the glacier. So I could not sleep until my skis got there, at 5 am. But the first day on the hill was still awesome!
I have gotten to work on a lot of new tricks! Also I have gotten some more footage, hopefully get some more tomorrow! I cannot wait to get home and make a Ski Camp Edit and show off all the new stuff I have learned!
I have been having such an amazing time riding with friends that I don’t get to see most of the year and with new friends!! They make it fun! Two more days of shredding!! Then back to the real world until ski season…..with a few backyard sessions here and there!
Hope you are all having a great summer!!!!

So it is the off season and I cannot stop thinking about skiing! That is ok though, well all the girls at work might disagree! I have been keeping the skiing buy at bay by spending endless hours on newschoolers.com looking at pictures and videos, watching trailers, and talking with other skiers about next season! We talk about what is going on in the ski community right now, goals for nest season, summer sessions, and of course summer ski camp!
I cannot wait! I leave July 11th for Momentum Ski Camp in Whistler! I am heading up there with two of my girls, Maddy and Kima, and it is going to rock! This will be my fourth year attending Momentum and I have a feeling it is going to be the best yet!!!
Besides spending endless hours on the best online newschool ski community out there I have been busy buying up new ski gear on sale since it is the off season. I got a new Dakine split level bag for traveling! I got new skis and bindings at an amazing steal!!!
And lastly I have been working a lot. I am a daycare teacher and I spend all day with a class of 2 and 3 year olds! So they defiantly keep me busy and going all day! We just hatched some duck eggs. They are almost two weeks old! They are getting so big! Although I think the teachers love them more then the kids do! We also have some fun field rips planned for this summer! Should be a good one to keep me going until ski season rolls around again!
I have also been going to the gym and spending time getting and staying in shape for next season. Along with a little tanning here and there! Then today I tried Pilates for the first time! It was amazing! I don’t know why I have never tried this before! It really works your core more then I thought it would. I highly suggest it to any athlete as a way of training on and off season!
